BS Vero removal by Bluetooth SIG
 

I had a vero take down for an item from bluetooth sig. This is bluetooth, the actual company. The item had no brand name, no bluetooth components, nothing that bluetooth company is affiliated with. It is just an accessory for bluetooth devices. What the heck is going on? Could this be some other jealous seller or would it have actually been from bluetooth sig company. Does ebay require some kind of authentication that they are the company or can anyone just state they are from some company and just go hog wild veroing people without consequence?

Could be this "Bluetooth SIG" is a phony and they are targeting you?

Have you been able to verify and reach out to the source?

I emailed them asking why they removed it as it has no products they own for sale. The email is legit and goes directly to bluetooth.com.
Seems might have been reported by someone to bluetooth site, an angry seller, then bluetooth blindly vero'd it. Using this form they can easily google search.

Wow. You got me. I agree this is quite odd since the item you had removed had no brand name, no bluetooth components, and nothing that the bluetooth company is affiliated with.

You might try filing a counter claim?

Immediately request a counter-notice. Follow procedures when doing so - don't just download one you find on the web. eBay occasionally changes these notices and the fax number you must send them to. Send email to rswebhelp@ebay.com and vero@ebay.com to request a counter-notice. Be polite and professional. Include your eBay account name, and item numbers that were taken down. You must send this from the email address you have on file with them.

You'll receive the counter-notice within 24 hours.

FAX the counter-notice ASAP. One counter-notice can be for several items, as long as they were all taken down by the same complaining twit. The fax number will be on the counter-notice.

WARNING: be ABSOLUTELY SURE you are not selling a knock-off, or unauthorized item. If you are (even if you are not 100% sure yourself) and you start filing a counter notice, you will make the problem worse. In fact, you could be legally liable for considerable damages if the item(s) you are listing are later proven to be unauthorized. Also this does not constitute legal advice since I am not an attorney.

Had you sold any before?

Or changed supplier who might have not be kosher?

Look at the eBay veRo list to see if Bluetooth sig belong.

There are many sellers who sell Iphone accessories,some have run into problem like you

So the vero strike was removed, but I had to relist the item so all the items I already sold are gone as starts from scratch, which is still kind of disappointing. I contacted bluetooth sig asking if it was a mistake. So either they fixed the issue or maybe ebay see's too many vero takedowns from this company and fixes the problem. Here is the message I got from them.

Usually it's done with a counter notice.

OP: Did you send one, or discuss with eBay?
