I believe eBay has linked my accounts, how long do I have?
 

Long story short needed to get below standard account to above standard. The second account I created 8 months ago to buy a bunch of things from the main one, I've taken what I thought to be every precaution, I guess not. I see on my "edit info" page it says the 8 month old account has been a member since the same exact date that it says on my main account that I've been buying from. The " Registration Date" at the bottom of edit info page are the same for both accounts, although they were created nearly 3 years apart. I feel like its been there for some time but I cant be sure as I've used the same routine for months. How long do I have until they end up banning me?

You aren't linked. You would know for certain if you were.

If you were linked your selling limit would be shared between the two accounts. You'd also get an email from eBay making it very clear that two or more of your accounts have been linked.

Okay thats reassuring. Any reason for the account created in late 2018 sharing the same origination date as my main account that I sold the products on?

Edit" I'm referring to "Registration Date" being the same although they were registered nearly 3 years apart.

No - that's odd. Are you 100% sure they're showing the same date?

I mean I could be wrong, but I have had accounts linked in the past and they're always in your face about it when it happens.. and this just doesn't sound like that.

Either way, if your accounts haven't gotten in trouble for it yet I seriously doubt you're going to retroactively get in trouble later. I'd just stop with the phake orders and hope for the best.

Yeah its 100% the same date. And thats why I'm puzzled, i've done everything the same way for months so its not like something specific would've made them do this the other day. I'm done doing any transactions between the accounts going forward, would you say its safe to wait 30 ish days and close the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account? If that works I plan on closing the below standard one when its hits above standard in august, because my 2nd legit account is my real store with impeccable rating that I've grown over the last 8 months year and can't afford to lose that.

I can't really comment on "safety" since this is all speculation, but I don't think you would be doing any more damage than may have already been done if you were to close the 2nd account in 30ish days.

to get linked it takes some substantial evidence and repeated links to form a solid link to each other like Phaz0rz’s said you would know ebay like to not keep any dirt they know on you in the dark.
