How can i get my payment faster on hold?
 

Hello. Today i sold an item on an 5 month old eBay account, and i get email notification, where PayPal said my payment is on temporary hold.
The email:
Title:$xx.xx USD from xy is in your pending balance

Content: "The payment from xy is on temporary hold.
We’ve placed the funds on hold because we believe this transaction may involve a higher than usual risk. The amount will appear in your pending balance and will be available after the order is fulfilled.

Provide shipment information
Add a valid tracking number and your payment will be available 1 day after the carrier reports the shipment has been delivered.


Update the status of your service or virtual product sale
If your item doesn’t need to be shipped, (e.g., e-ticket or piano lessons) update the order status and your payment will be available within 7 days after verification. "



Now this is the same, as the 21 days hold???What is appear on new eBay accounts???

If i ship the product and add tracking no, my fund will be released? Or should i mark as shipped as virtual product and they will release my money???

Ship fast, add tracking and you will have your funds soon.

It is not the same as a 21 day hold.

How much time is the "soon"? 1-2 day?? I just wanna know from someone who have more experience in this, and had this payment hold on account?

Might be 7 day hold or it may be 3 days after delivery or if international possibly 28 days.

This info given is correct. I had it happen to me a few times and it was always released 1 day after, however the info PayPal gave me was 24 hours after proof of delivery and it did take longer than 24 hours but it was done later in the evening.
I find now more of the 12 hour delay on instant transfer requests.

A couple of my USA accounts had these holds.

Only one was a problem to arrange funds release. Luckily the amount was not too high.


For me the first time the value of the item was higher, I got what you described.

If you operate as agent’ described, you shall be able to get the funds.

That's normal when you're selling high risk items on a somewhat a new account.
Funds will be released 24hours after marked as delivered, and make sure to add tracking details recognized/trackable by both eBay and PayPal. Goodluck

It depends.

For me happened like that - i have provided same docs. Paypal has reviewed and closed my account. In that case money is available only after 180days.

sometimes it is not Paypal,but Ebay asking PAYPAL to withhold your payment,if this is the case and you dont see the payment released after said days,then call Ebay .

Lol, what are you talking about? This guy just has holds on his money....
