Selling Adult toy items

I currently have an Adult toy supplier , but I'm not quite sure on how to go about selling such products. I figured working on my own website would be the best thing. Figured I'd seek out any feedback or advice. Thanks!

Ebay has a mature audience category,I bet you what you plan to sell is already available there!

Are you saying that as a good or bad thing? Ebay does however have restrictions on being able to sell in the "main" category that allows such products to be listed, until eBay grants you such access. They do however have another sub category that allows such items but I feel like the traffic wouldnt be quite the same. Maybe I'm wrong.

You are correct about the sub-category. Traffic is not that good.

Other sellers can be snitchy as well.

If you really want to sell this kind of thing.. why don't you start the application/approval process on AZ and EB?

Surely counterfeit dildos aren't a huge problem so as long as there's nothing shady about your supply chain, I don't think it would be too hard to get approved and sell them legitimately.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no application process at least on eBay's end , I haven't talked to a rep from Amazon's side. The requirements are 90 days and 50 sales I believe in order to be able to sell in such category. Meeting those requirements doesn't automatically grant you access. You then have to hope the eBay gods grant you such power. I don't know it doesn't make sense to me , but that's what I was told.

PS: d!ck move making tons of identical threads in different parts of the forum. Everyone sees them all on the "home" page.. so there's no need for that.

Also, I wasn't aware of that. Plus when you say tons you really only mean 3 lol. Anyways thanks for telling me that.

I would say like anything, you need to carefully research your item(s) before investing a lot, especially in the adult category.

I am not aware you have to apply to sell in that category,I moved some items there years ago and get ZERo SALE.
