No, it's not from those places. They make $ in a variety of ways.

- Interest from account balances held in their bank accounts
- Interest from working capital loans and PP credit
- business account fees
- transaction fees

etc, etc. I used to pay ~$5k orders with Paypal twice a week when I was starting out. They probably made more on one of those transactions than they do on 250 average eBay transactions.

Re: ebay cutting off paypal and work with adyen instead

it can make a lot on transaction fee alone 30 cents and they pay 10 cents.
2.9% vs 1 % cost.
That Paypal loan is a blood sucker.
but I bet their loss is high and labor cost is high too.

Re: ebay cutting off paypal and work with adyen instead

Here is exactly what I did. I set up Ayden with my stealth info using the last 4 of my EIN for the last 4 of my social (just like you do on paypal if your going to go over the 200 orders 20k limit) super easy. They did ask for a drivers license at first but that was just because I had a type O in my name on the Ayden info making it different than what appeared on my eBay account.. Once I fixed that I didn't have to send in the drivers license. If not for the type O, a mistake on my part, they never would have asked for one. A few weeks later they asked for something verifying my bank account information. This store is set up on an LLC with a business account. I sent them a canceled check from my business account (not a DBA account so it only had the business name on it) and I was good to go. No more problems, knock on wood anyway. Using the account has been a breeze. They send deposits without me having to do anything every day. I had a problem giving people refunds at first but that seems to have been fixed. Truthfully, if it continues to be this simple I will be happy to have all of my accounts set up that way.

I talked to someone who had a problem with that. Because the name they were using in Ayden didn't match what they had "originally" put on the account Ayden asked for a drivers license. I don't know how they will treat that. I'm sure they will ask for your drivers license but if its your real info it may not be a problem.

Am talking about switching the names just before Ayden comes into effect? So Ayden would never really know the past name if account. Only eBay would

never going away for the buyer, but not the seller, like AMZN marketplace, sellers use AMZN One click.
Right now if you the buyer loses a dispute on EBAY,you can go to Paypal,if you lose on PAYPAL,you go to your cc issuer.
How is that different with Ayden?
Is Ayden decision final?

Well am banned on Etsy. And I have been on now for a week. Made no sales as yet. But submitted my real passport. My real bank. Alls I have changed is the address of the Etsy account phone number. The address on the bank account is different. Only thing that’s the same is the name! So maybe that’s all Ayden is after names to match from account to bank account. All other info can be diff? Of course when I make a sale all that could change so who knows yet.

Real name
Diff address
Diff phone number
New user account
New ip each time I log on

Real bank
Diff billing address to that of my account address
Real passport Id

Global. ecommerce bytes says it's already started rolling out in Germany. It's been rolling out in USA for 2 years now.

hello everybody,

so this Ayden will be like an "etsy payment" or "amazon", people choose how to pay and then seller will withdraw that money from his Ayden account how preffer

will be the chance to still manage stealth account?

(sorry for my english)

Re: ebay cutting off paypal and work with adyen instead

"The agreement between eBay and PayPal will officially end in 2020.

eBay will begin the transition in the second half of this year and hopes most of its customers will be using Adyen by 2021,

But shoppers will have an option to use the off-platform PayPal as a payment option until 2023."

I dont think it will keep rolling untill 2023 for sellers
