Activity: 5% Longevity: 30% | | Does eBay care about IPs on long running accounts?
Most of the info that I read pertains to new stealth account and account creation.
My question is more about long running accounts. Even legit accounts created in your own name.
Does the IP and IP Linkage matter much after you've created the account?
Does eBay care about IP or system changes with these accounts?
Will they care if you move it to a VPS? Does this look risky/suspicious to them?
I'd like to think that it probably wouldn't matter much since I'm sure the average eBay user wouldn't think twice about accessing their accounts on a friends wifi or on public WiFi's like at a starbucks. I assume it is probably likely to have a link with previously banned eBay accounts if both people have logged into the wifi at a popular Starbucks.
However, it is a question that I need to be sure about before I take action since these accounts are too valuable to lose.

Dont ever trust on eb, u give them much business never think that way, I have heard here people had large business setup on ebay, some small silly mistakes, boom off you go. Eb is very cruel that way. I would assume public wifi s are used and abused. So stay away.
If u hv long running acct then save it and protect it.

correct ip isn't much of a big deal with older well established accounts it takes more then just ip to create a link but say you have same ip as a banned account same address etc selling same stuff that's were using an ip can cause a link if you and the other accounts on that ip have more common info hope that helps but I always still try to keep a good ip give ebay as little as possible.

My brother once logged into his Ebay at my house using my IP nothing happened initially, however some months later he got an item removed and suspended and Ebay then proceeded to suspend 2 of my accounts because of the IP link, called Ebay and explained that my brother had logged onto his account at my house but they did not want to know. These were own accounts not stealth, but just shows a small link like that can come back to bite you.

Well I lost two accounts that I accidently logged onto a banned acct over the last year, Called on one and talked it back (claimed neighbor logged on during poker game) tried that with the second one and they denied because two of the items we sold (actually me) was the same.

There's nothing wrong with moving your account to a new IP. I've had to do it several times myself.. including when we moved a few years ago since I was running my biggest account on my home IP at the time.

public places like library, starbuck,Kinko,Ebay somehow can tell the difference .
But allowing someone to sign in to their Ebay account on your device can get you into trouble,I thought it was the cookie Ebay placed in your device?
I dont understand all these, that was when most people use either a PC or a laptop.
With a pc,I just remove the keyboard when I am away

there is more than meet the eyes, some of these businesses could have been kicked out of another site, and you know what the other site is.

I just remove the i7 CPU and then re-apply thermal paste and put the chip back in to access the computer on my return.

As long as you use IP that's not used on other accounts, you'll be ok.
If you need to get a VPN, I recommend IPBurger, so you have a Dedicated IP for that one account.
I suggest you be a little more disciplined with your accounts and really follow the stealth guide to heart. Because eventually things will catch up to you.
It's not whether eBay cares or not, they have a bot that catches people.
So no human interaction

removing the processor or the components inside the processor is better than keyboard in case someone show up with his own keyboard!

Easier and more secure than keyboard route.
Or you could just run all of your accounts from a bootable micro SD card and eat it if you ever need to. Imagine the information you'd be consuming on a full 128G micro SD. :D
