I'm creating a new account on Ebay, it continues to suspend after listing ... !

Hmm, you are not alone. This seems to be a lot more common now with people who still think this is the good ol' days of eBay.

eBay is just getting more strict, but that doesn't mean you can't get over this.

You just need to property season your account properly, and not be so quick to list your first items. Please be patient. If you have not already done so, get the Stealth Account and read through it. That will really help you a lot.

One of the top long time account sellers on this forum Slokor will agree you need to re-evaluate what you are doing and take your time. All the account sellers who create big limit accounts every day know this, and they are not having this trouble.

First of all thank you for this refreshing article. I've never had a secret account before. Maybe I can buy it one day. I may be listing my items quickly. I've tried many things for a long time, but it didn't work. I'il follow your advice.

What I mean by "seasoning" isn't putting salt & pepper on the account. ;)

This just means using the account much like a "normal" person would.

For example, eBay knows that most people who are not up to anything shady would create their account, then use it to browse around, searching up items here and there... They might also put some of those items on their watch list, or even BID on a couple auctions! In fact, most "normal" users are buyers first.

The process above does build up cookies, and if done over a period of at least a few weeks strengthens the account before you even THINK of creating a seller account, and listing that first item!

Go slow, act like a normal user. eBay knows that scammers would create their accounts, and straight away try and list an item. That's asking for an instant BAN.

I used ebay account since 2013 for buying. After listing my first item I got suspension and the ebay asking to provide them my ID

Have to list a LOW risk item, that you HAVE IN YOUR POSSESSION with the item location AS YOUR LOCATION. Must be a USED item with your own PICTURES.

Once you open a new account
Do NOT list at least for 1-2 weeeks
Make some search as a buyer.Put couple item in your basket or wish list
Log in to you account couple times a week to make searches for few minutes
List 1 used item with your pictures after 2 weeks
And you will be fine

These suspensions are easy to pass if you call in. Has that changed?

Same Problem with Vietnamese Information. I lost a lot of account, you know we are company and my employee reg seller account for each other, but after they link paypal to ebay account and do not active seller yet, we build cookie for 2 week... but they suspension and no appeal, each account on VPS / VPN and private IP. I do not know why ebay do that, if no seller, they can't grow up

Let it age and don't cheap out on anything when creating them. I had issues previously with accounts being suspended, but that is because I was creating seller accounts quick or listing too early.

I now log into them creating history and even buying stuff on them for a week or more. Then I will eventually create a seller account and either wait a couple of days or a week before listing something.

So far, no suspension or having to call in like I did before.

Be patient with this stuff and the account will last longer than you think.

This IS the right method.

There are far too many posts here from people complaining about their new accounts being suspended. They are not being patient enough or aging the accounts properly. They might also opt to use a cheap IP address, VCC, etc. You can't cut corners. You need to season the accounts for WEEKS and act like a normal user would.

Couldn’t agree more ebay knows someone isn’t going to just make an eBay and PayPal same day and list a few items nobody would unless they have had an account before with how ebay and Paypal are evolving you need to always think outside the box and always stay up to date on stealth things change daily.

Creating a proper seller account takes time, skill, and effort. There is a good reason why the account sellers charge what they do in the marketplace. They make quality accounts and save you the trouble of doing it yourself, or waiting if you are the impatient type.

Back in the good old days (in 2002/2003) I could register an eBay and start selling on it pretty much straight away. Things were so easy back then. Some people still think we are living in those days... I wish we were. Things have changed a GREAT deal since then. This is the new normal.

I hate to say it, but things will get a lot harder before they will become easier when it comes to selling just about anywhere online. This is mainly due to the relentless amounts of scams and fraud that's perpetrated on the Internet every day.

yes, almost all countries, they request documents for new sellers, even the original documents cannot be passed.
a little sucks today, but everyone will have time, this time is ebay time. :)
