Moving to a different state so can I change address?
 

I am moving to a different state. I have a stealth ebay account and unverified paypal account...just became unverified after 12 years. Can I change my ebay address and be ok? I will leave my paypal po box the same in the old state as I can't afford to mess that up so it will be different from ebay. I am going to have to fly back once a month to check my po box and keep my bank in the old state...what a hassle. I really don't want to start a new ebay and paypal stealth at the new state since I have over 4000 items listed on ebay which took me years to do and don't want to start with all the limitations. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No

Create a fresh new ebay and paypal using that new address and your legit ID.

A new address usually means a new start.

Get a new passport made up with a new photo of yourself and new address. Just incase Paypal want to ID check you.

I'm stealth on both ebay and paypal. I guess I might be able to get away with using my real info on ebay since they don't require a SSN but paypal wouldn't be possible correct?

Ebayer can have different addresses,-for returning item to you, for sending an item and address where you will receive Ebay mail ,usually your home address.
They can all be different.
why do you have to fly back to your old address,just to pick up mail from your PO BOX?
Private mail station can forward your mail indefinitely as long as you pay them,not sure if USPS will do this for more than 3 months?

if your buyer files a dispute with PAYPAL,what address does Paypal give them to return an item now?
If your buyer files on Ebay,Ebay will send him a shipping label,what address is it using now.
If you act before Ebay gets involved,you can send them a different return address label,thats what AMZN. DROPSHIPPERs do so the item is returned to AMZN,not them

man everyone here overthinks everything, just add your new address to paypal ( you can put more than 1) you can leave the old one.

You guys make it seem like your account will explode if you make the slightest changes.
I cant speak for ebay, but paypal wont care, i change addresses all the time

yes,you can add many shipping address to your Paypal account and when you make payment,choose the one you want the item to be shipped to.
just make sure if you lose a dispute,what address would Paypal ask your buyer to return the item to

Wrenchsauce ..or anyone. So having a Paypal Stealth account that is unverified will not raise flags if I change my address on there? They won't require documents then? I can't and won't take any chances so I need to be 100% sure when you say I can change my address on paypal and ebay and no flags will occur. No documents asked for.

You should be fine changed the info if you have years of cookies built up on it people move I would say do it if you have years of cookies it’s normal.

A friend of mine who ebays too changed her address on paypal and right after that she had to provide all kinds of documents to prove who she was and she has all legit information. THAT is why I am worried about taking the risk.
