Linking via Windows COA

Its probably impossible but is there any possibility that ebay could view your embedded Windows coa?

If someone was to use the embedded coa on two hard drives / two windows installations on the same laptop, could the two of them be linked just from the laptop/coa?

I haven't heard of this happening on eBay.

Did something happen to you that you are asking this?

How could eBay see the coa?

Nothing has happened.

It just got me thinking, forget the coa... Its far fetched. However, I am using various hard drives for windows setups on one laptop (I just swap the hard drive for each ebay account to save me logging into the wrong windows user account). Is there anything embedded to the laptop that someone like ebay could retrieve to link ebay/paypal accounts?

Nothing that I have seen so far - for eb/pp except cookies...

Browsers can't do that at the moment. There might be underhanded means to do so but a company such as eBay would never risk implementing it.

eBay/PayPal have easier ways to identify us if they really wanted to. The catalogue of information that chrome and Firefox give away is so staggering that eBay / Paypal will have no trouble crucifying us feet up, head down if they wanted to.

I'm not sure why they do not do it but I'd guess security is outsourced and additional intelligence will cost significantly more.

If eBay wanted to act on all policy violations, their earnings will take a massive hit. No exaggerations here.
My suspicions are that they don't give a toss as long as you keep it small, stay under the radar and do not overdo anything that may adversely contravene their policies.
