Cases Closed Without Seller Resolution..

Long story short - after a few days away I've screwed up and got myself 3 cases closed without seller resolution

In my seller dashboard it says that anything over 2 cases will put my account below standard.. Fair enough. From memory, it always used to say more than 2 cases OR over 0.3%. The percentage part has now disappeared and it only states 2 cases!?

Does the 0.3% part still apply?? Surely it does as obviously there are sellers out there selling ten fold what I'm selling, surely they have a little more than 2 cases before their account drops below standard?!

I'm hoping that I can work my backside off to bring the defects below 0.3% but with the percentage part no longer being mentioned I'm a little worried!

It's possible the "or .3% only applies if you've sold a certain volume in the evaluation period. I assume that's the case since the "or .3%" is still showing in my seller dashboard. If it's not showing in yours I wouldn't count on it applying to your account.

These sellers could have opted into automatic return without getting Ebay involved,I know top rated sellers have to accept return and many just auto approved return and send shipping label.
you know below standard sellers will pay 14% FVF

It wasn't the automatic return setting that got me, I always accept returns immediately. The part that caught me out was that 48 hours after receiving the item back, I was supposed to refund the buyer.. but being away, I was unaware the items got delivered.. therefore 48 hours later when the customer contacted eBay, I got hit with the 'case closed without seller resolution'.
I accepted the return, I just failed to refund on time.
Totally my fault and no doubt, I'll pay the price.. just looking for the fastest way out of it.

My reply is that they dont have cases because they are always willing and ready to accept return and send return shipping label same day the buyer open a case.
some just refund without asking buyer to return the item.

I thought Ebay allows seller 3 days to refund?
It must have changed.
in the future I would log into MY Ebay just to check return status,no matter where you are.
You can try calling Ebay if it does you any good, how long have you been selling on Ebay?
it costs nothing to call them, the worst is they say NO
