eBay managed payments adyen (⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID)?
 

Any one got around Adyen with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ IDs? Did you buy one or photoshop one yourself? It seems they won't allow EIN? Only SSN? I have one of the stealth account enrolled in that Adyen crap by accident... then can't opt out and eBay sent this message to me:

• Registered address



Additionally, the document you provide needs to:


• Be current (not expired)

• Be in color

• Be clearly visible and high quality

• Contain the complete MRZ code ( if providing a passport or passport ID card)

• Issued by the United States or a State within the United States.


Finally you must provide us with both the front and back of the document, if you send us a driver's license.


Please provide this information at your earliest convenience, so we can finish the verification process and resume processing your payout.

I don’t believe anyone has been able to use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ documents plus I believe that illegal as ayden is a bank hopefully some others chime in with more expierence would be interesting to see what others have done.

You could change your stealth info to a family members or friends? And use there ID? Make sure you ask them first.

It's not as simple as using "creative" docs to get an Adyen account since they actually check the info with 3rd parties to perform identify verification, just like any bank would.

What is AYden?
are we each getting a merchant account or Ebay gets one and we are sub accounts under Ebay?Like Paypal?
And if there is a chargeback,who gets hit ?

Adyen is the backend merchant processor (bank) that eBay will be using for it's Managed Payments. This is planned to be implemented by 2023 and will be required for all sellers.

Buyers can still use PayPal to pay as usual, but for sellers, payments will be handled exclusively by eBay via Adyen's platform.

I know the seller ,but with Paypal,it is its merchant account,it gets hit first and then pass on to us,if we have zero balance,then balance turns negative.
How does it work with Ayden?
Now Paypal offers to pick up return shipping up to $xx for YY times in a year,in an Item not as described dispute if you apply when you make payment,does Ayden have that?
Also,now if we lose a dispute with Ebay,we run to Paypal,lose it on Paypal,we go to our cc issuer.
With Ayden,is Ebay and Ayden same,so if we lose,we go to cc issuer?

And Ayden will deposit our sales proceeds in our bank account once a month?Like AMZN and Etsy?
What if we do not want our sales proceed to be deposited in our bank each month?

If I remember lucydna's experience correctly, there was a request for documents on her stealth personal details, which were submitted and accepted.

I believe she used an EIN at signup, but they still asked for personal details (which were stealth), and asked for documents for those personal details.

Lucynda did it with stealth account so it is possible... It just got a little bit harder. Read her posts to see how she did it.

DEPOSITS are daily. I have 1 managed payments account. But takes 2-4 days for deposit to show up.

How it works on etsy, it is held in your balance and taken out of tomorrows distribution. I dont think they have ever dipped into the bank account, even on closed accounts with a sellers balance and negative funds but ebay may be different.

Where does this leave us stealthers that are doing well under stealth ?

What happens to those accounts in 2023. Especially in the UK ?

If our details are banned on ebay how do we now get around it if we have to accept adyen no matter what ?

If ebay start mass suspending everyone that verifies themselves with adyen and reveals their true previously suspended identities they will be losing a lot on fees. Fairly sure a good 20% of ebay users are people that have been suspended before.

I was banned on Etsy. I got back on just by using my real name that matched my bank and matched my passport photo. Everything else was diff so I guess I couldn’t be pinpointed by Etsy. But adyan did accept me. But prob with eBay is they can’t allow you to change the user name on the account. My guess u could make your self a secondary user on the account. Submit your real id to Adyen snd contact them saying you’ve been made account holder by the owner of the account?

My point is though adyan is only after matching the name on the account to the name on the bank to match the id submitted. Everything else they don’t care about. That’s what av found so far. I have 5 accounts so am worried I do hope there’s a more solid way of getting around it in the next year as I don’t want to make myself a secondary user across 5 accounts.

Its game over. Start preparing now to go fully legit, I doubt old ebay bans will carry over to new system.

That is not my area of experience and I do not have any desire to coach or guide people. It requires a lot more patience than I have. I am sure when the time comes, aspkin will launch something IF it does not cross too many lines or create another "Beautiful" to service such needs and collect payment via BTC only.
I can say, it is magnitudes easier than making amazon accounts, so no big deal :)

Providing Adyen with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID is the same as opening a bank account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID. It could slip through though, but if you get caught, Adyen will ban you and worst case scenario you will get your ass reported for identity theft.

Hi. Here was my experience. This kind of thing usually happens when the name you put into Ayden is different than the one that was "originally" on your eBay account. I had someone contact me a while back having a similar situation and it turned out when they bought their stealth account they changed the name to something different. Ayden wanted the ORIGINAL name on the account. I learned that during a phone call. I had a type o in my name that was causing the problem. I fixed it and the request for ID went away.

A few weeks after that it asked me for bank docs. I sell a LOT on that account and I had reached some sort of government-imposed limit. I just sent them a voided check. I had already opened a business account on that one so it was no problem. The checking account was under my LLC and EIN and had my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stealth address on it. (easy to do, they will put whatever address you want on your checking account and still send the statements to your actual address). Easy peasy.

They accepted a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ last 4 of social and my EIN. What was funny is the people in the Ayden department noticed that the last for of my social and my EIN were the same and even stated so in an email but my account was opened back up anyway. I have a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID for that account but I never had to send it in.

I've had managed payments on the one account since March of this year and I absolutely LOVE it!!!! It's s easy and worry-free. I don't have to deal with any of Paypal's bull****. I can't wait for all of them to be set up on managed payments.

Why you guys wana do ebay managed payments now? It's not forced. You can open as many paypal stealths as you want now and start cashing in now.
I have around 50 accounts now, made over 20 grand last week reselling cellphones and game consoles.

By 2023 in the uk ... but it's a non issue if all previously banned ebayers are allowed back on with a clean slate. Which is what I am wishing for ...

identity theft ? using someone else's ID is fraud , little different to a bogus ID.

Plus there's the issue of finding you. ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address, vp service. Honestly I think they have bigger fish to fry than random eBay sellers.

They can track you down via your business info even if you're using an LLC and in a state where the registered agent is the only info showing online. Registered agents have your info, and we all know we can't provide ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info when registering for an EIN. Proceed with caution
