wanting to buy stock from alibaba?
 

Hi everyone,
I have recently been trying to buy some stock from alibaba.
the problem is that the workers I talk to in the chat either dont
reply or I dont understand them and they dont understand me.
what would be the easist way to make an order from alibaba?

If its smaller quantities then you might want to look at aliexpress first. If you are looking for 1 pallet plus quantities then you are in the right place.

I personally use an English contact in the region to deal directly with the factory in the area on my behalf. I always find this helps me to get the best possible prices and speed up things like samples/changes.

Each region of china specialises in different things so you need to be looking in the right area for the items you need.

The app provides a pre written example of how to inquire about a product. It's most likely their minimum order quantity (MOQ) is higher than what you're looking to buy but you can sort search by MOQ.

A lot of their stated MOQ's are wishful thinking in my experience. If you manage to strike up a conversation most suppliers on there will sell you whatever amount you want if you're willing to pay.

@OP - If you can't find a solid factory with an English speaking contact, using Google translate is an option. Might not be the best for negotiating a custom international shipment - but it's an option. :s

Yes, really depends on type of product. Some may redirect you to local distributors to save on shipping and MOQ is higher than what you want to buy. Love working with the Chinese for their conservative beliefs.

Get a buyers agent, they are all over facebook, they act on your behalf and will be able to negotiate better prices than you can.

he is talking about merchandise ,not BABA stock.
but where do you live,go to unniversity campus or Chinese restaurant and grab a waiter or cook,

I have bought numerous times from Alibaba, NEVER a problem? They have a translator built into their platform, if they don't understand you, you are not speaking properly or succinctly.
