It can be done however I don't advise calling Ebay for anything unless 100% necessary. They may ask you public record type questions you may not be able to answer. It's best just to let limits raise naturally by providing great service.

I have tried this and the US reps always want to ask public database questions, which can be a problem with a stealth account.

Ive gotten out of this twice by just saying "I do not feel comfortable giving out my information to someone on the phone. I had my identity stolen before this way". They just moved past it

Success rate = 5% lol

I have found that calling to have your limits raised is generally harmless. On newer accounts they are more likely to want to ask public database questions but you can simply tell them you are not comfortable with giving out personal information. The worst that happens is you cannot get your limits raised. I have found that more often though they still raise my limits even when I refuse to answer the public database questions, however they only raise them by a small amount.

I have done this type of call in over 50 times at this point. No reported issues.

I let limits naturally grow - or spread to new accounts.
