Default BEWARE this Chinese seller scammer

Beware of this scammer on eBay qiuqip766

Very smart in what he does, has a whole bunch of stealth accounts and buys from himself to get good reviews, then starts listing popular items like GoPro audio adapters that sell for $100 for $9.98 and gets 300 sales and closes the listing meanwhile he opens up a 2 stroke bicycle motor for $15 and sell 300 and closes the listing relists it again at $10.98 as another seller sth54.

Both accounts are active (there may be more).

How they get around the claims and sanctions from eBay is their shipping is up to 7 weeks to receive so as a reasonable person would wait for a few more days for delivery and you find yourself over 60 days from the sale. No huge negative feedback, no item not received claim. If they get a few negative feedback's then they just do a few more buys from themselves for a product you can not buy and leave themselves more positive feedback all it costs them is a few dollars a feedback, in the mean while you have 1,000's into tens of thousands in the bank

Not sure how the PayPal side works out, I did a trial buy as I knew it was a scam and wanted to see how it worked. The PayPal transaction has no way to open a resolution case or contact the buyer so unless I call them at this present time I have no online recourse.

So for USA or maybe worldwide buyers who purchase from China from a seller who offers up to 7 weeks delivery time and no tracking, you will have no eBay or PayPal protection

Very clever person.

I ran into the scam a few weeks ago. It was a wifi camera set with 4 cams + receiver listed for $10 where it's usually over $200.

I bought 3 from 3 different sellers, waited a month, and got my $ back from eBay on each transaction. I wanted the cameras..

Made me wonder how they're running this though. Buying BTC with the PP while never linking a real bank?

No doubt they are buying their BTC on here.

Chinese factory workers are known to steal ,dumpster dive for defective products, they also receive products instead of $$ pay if they are layoff or factory runs into financial trouble

If I were to have received the camera sets I would not have cared how the seller originally obtained them.

I knew each time it was 99% most likely a scam of some kind, but I knew I'd be covered by eBay buyer protection and I was in the market for cameras anyway.. so I took the bait intentionally to see what would happen. Nothing happened except a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking number being uploaded each time that would show delivery in the wrong state with the wrong time line.

Now I'm going to have to spend $50/each on actual outdoor wifi cams.

some folks dont care, time is not money and they rely on seller protection.
Ebay and Paypal are known to remove seller protection for various reasons.

If you want cameras, go for reputable brands like Ring, Nest etc.

Pricey, but also reliable.

These cheaper alternatives are temperamental, and aren't worth the hassle.

Classic scams. You see them in most electronic categories.

I've seen £2000 electronics listed for like £400-500. You buy it. They quickly use the funds ... buy btc or whatever. And you get your money back through seller protection.
