The fastest dial up Internet providers

I am managing 3 different accounts and the only safe way I have found to do this is by using different windows user accounts and dial-up.

I understand you have to sacrifice speed for security and I have no problem with that but I am using Net Zero and it is so unbelievably slow it is sickning.

I can't get enough done In a day because I spend most of my time waiting for pages to load.

Does anybody know what the fastest dial-up company is. What is the best besides AOL. The 9.99 netzero plan sucks. I have had dial up before and it was never this slow. I had AOL before but I don't want to go there unless I have to because they are expensive and i am also paying for broadband as well.

Net zero also offers a supposed "faster plan" for an additional 5 dollars a month. Is that really any faster?

The speed of your dial-up connection doesn't depend on the service, it mainly depends on the speed of your modem, the number of people on line at the same time and the capacity of your phone lines. The services that claim faster speeds are ignoring the fact that your phone line can only carry the signal a set rate. Kind of like if someone puts a speedometer that goes up to 140 in a car that only has a top speed of 80. That's the main drawback to dial-up.

Have you tried a mobile broadband service provider?

I use 3 mobile here in the UK and the speed difference between that and my main broadband connection is not the noticeble for day to day use. It is not so good for large file downloads, but for general ebay use it serves me well without any major frustrations.....

So you get a different IP every time you log on with mobile broadband?

I need to get a mobile plan anyway so that would work out great. I can't stand using dialup but I am managing three accounts and I will be opening at least 2 more so I figured I had to get dialup.

I saw an ad for a company called Cricket. $40 per month for unlimited broadband access. This sounds good yes?

Yes.... IP is dynamically assigned.

Sound good..... I pay quite a bit more for 15Gb but I got a laptop thrown in with mine, which was useful for using on Amazon.
