Hello everyone, what are your thoughts on this ebay - vero auto message,
why would someone use that kind of sick scare tactic for you to take off the listing ?

Scare tactic? They aren't trying to scare you, And they aren't ASKING you to take off your listings. The copyright owner is TELLING ebay to take off your listings. What exactly are you having an issue with?

Scare tactic is the part where the reporter added note : "The FBI will investigate the case!" which is nonsense, fbi has nothing to do with this, there are companies who just send a message to take off the listing or straight reports to ebay so listing gets taken out.

Bit confused as to why you think this is a scare tactic ? pirated software sellers get hefty sentences. Carry on selling them then. When you're arrested and summoned to court ... or your house gets raided. Don't come back here crying.

Find legitimate items to sell online or get a proper job.

Selling pirate software / films affects hundreds of thousands of people in the industry employed by the studios.

You better hope they didn't buy a copy as evidence. Which may have been submitted to the FBI

Pirating software is a federal crime. Which the FBI investigates.

"The unauthorized reproduction or distribution of a copyrighted work is illegal. Criminal copyright infringement, including infringement without monetary gain, is investigated by the FBI and is punishable by fines and federal imprisonment."

Don't get me wrong. I have no qualms about pirating and couldn't give a rats ass, morally, about this situation. But the laws are the laws at the moment.

I'm not selling anything illegal on ebay actually and that was a message another seller got, most likely it was report and message to scare the seller so he does not repost the listing again, many times people just repost the listing and company workers have to repeatedly waste time to report them again to take down the listing, so this is great way to scare the sellers.

Exactly, looks 100% ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and the ! on the end of the sentence makes it so obvious.
