J4G3D | 08-05-2019 08:06 PM | Im planning to contact ebay to try reinstate my account... In 2013 it got a indefinite ban, a MC999.
Their excuse at the time was:
"Our decision is based on evidence from our records and our goal to keep eBay a safer place for buyers and sellers. We're not comfortable with your selling practices or business model, and we feel they don't help to promote a positive buying and selling environment."
And it was based around a few auctions selling clothing. The clothing was genuine and original, I have dug out the original invoice for them from a then reputable company, although they don't exist anymore. Ironically, I've sold them on using my stealth account without issues... HAHA!
So I will go armed with that invoice. I made other mistakes on this account. Selling VeRo items which were not originals and other stupid mistakes. But I can only go and try, possibly admit I made mistakes..etc.
Any tips on what I should say or what other evidence to back me?
And... of course.. How do I contact them? I'd prefer via email. Their live chat is full of idiots and i'd rather not give my sob story on a telephone call. I think it'd be much better in writing via email. So does anyone have their email address?
BTW im aware i've got a 10% chance.. if that. But its better than nothing. |
