Hello all.


Am I seeing this right is eBay leaving PayPal next year?


And coming up with a new payment method to receive money for sellers and buyers.

This has been known for quite some time now.

eBay is transitioning to it's own payment system which they called "Managed Payments" that uses a company called Adyen as their back-end processor.

The transition to Managed Payments is expected to take a few years, but is due to be completed by 2023.

Buyer can still use Paypal under managed payment but seller cannot accept Paypal direct

What will happen next?
we'll be still able to sell on eBay using Just PayPal like now?

eventually,yes,Europe.
seller would use managed payment,no Paypal.
You know it will be charging 25 cents transaction fee per item in the order,so if your buyer bought 10 items in one order,transaction fee would be 10 x 25 cents !!!

Yea, they mentioned this a while back and going to require using Adyen.

But I don't think it's next year completely.

However they also said that PP will still be an option

Apart the fees and managed payments ,you know when will happen this change if everything will be the same as now or there will be something to provide?
