Can i add my VAT ID to a stealth ebay account

Now that VAT will be mandatory on German ebay accounts i wanted to know if i can put my VAT ID to a stealth ebay.

So basically it's not possible to grow a very large stealth account as when you reach the VAT limit you will have to stop or spread the sales across several accounts.

my legit account just reached 85k and that's why i'm here. however, even if you add your VAT, this is subject to tax, and i've heard that eBay reports to HMRC.
