Hello,

There is a scammer in this forum "AnthonyMR".
Watch out everyone!

I wanted to buy an eBay stealth account from him, he claimed to give Paypal + vps and all the necessary info.

After I paid him, he wanted me to confirm receipt and when I didn't want to he sent me a question about buyer protection after the buyer confirms and an old answer of "moderator", I googled the question and the moderator's reply wasn't there!
He doesn't want to refund but asking for screenshots of my real name, probably to make a fa ke receipt.
Also his English is not native but saying he's from USA.

Admins check him and suspend him from this forum.

Unfortunately, we see threads like this on a recurring basis.

This is why you should ONLY buy from approved sellers on in the forum Marketplace. They are trusted and vetted.

How did he contact you?

If it was from a PM, then you need to hit the report button on the PM.

It's the red and white triangle in the upper right on the PM.

you bought an account from someone with 3 posts, that signed up a week ago? I mean, I'm sorry to hear that, but.... As the old adage goes, you get what you pay for and Caveat Emptor

This forum is riddled with bandits. There are a handful of genuine people.

If you paid with paypal or cc why not just decline the charge and get your money back?

Only buy accounts from seller section.. thats what you get if you trust anyone.

Almost 1 year :)
I was able to get my money back, I made a mistake and sent him a screenshot of my homepage, then he called PP on my behalf and closed the case I opened through the phone.

I called PP later on and told them the story, I think PP checked the phone calls records and decided to refund me, but the refund was credited from PP and not from the scammer.
I assume he took the money and his account has negative balance now, PP lost eventually :)
