Hello community,

From one month or so i am selling digital goods on ebay(.de - germany )

I didn't have any problems with it untill yesterday. I created a new stealth account, new IP, new PayPal.

When I put a listing for sale, after 1-2 hours i am getting an email regariding MC121 and need to provide ID(front/back), proof of address, and something related with registration of company.

I had account from 1-2 weeks created, tried there, same problem. As I said above, I didn't have any problems before with these things, now I do not really know what is happening.

P.S I am not sure about the phone number if I use it before but i am sure they will link my previous account with this phone number.

I will appreciate the whole support.:thumb::hail:

Hi cruuz36,

You listed a digital item on a brand new account. It is normal to have issues.

A lot of threads here recently about many suspended new accounts.

You need to make some feedback with selling low cost / low risk items before jumping on high risk items. Build trust, slow and steady.

Did you make some browsing history (bidding, watching, etc) before listing your first item ?

Most new accounts on eBay.de get the MC121. They want legit documents:

1. Passport / ID.

2. Proof of address.

3. Invoices showing you're the owner of the inventory you're selling.


Add to that the newly introduced 22§ document, which will be stamped and signed by the Finanzamt (German IRS).


To put it bluntly, stealthing on eBay & Amazon.de from now on means you will be committing identity theft, providing false documents to the German government or even forging the stamps or signatures of German officials.


Soon there will be a shared digital database between major online marketplaces and the German government where everything will be double checked in real time.



The EU is a whole different beast in terms of financial freedom and this is just the beginning.

Eh it means I will do not have any chances to sell digital goods ( i am selling fortnite accounts ).. :(

Before I had "success" if I can say that, but now.. Do not think so :/

In my previous accounts on .de, i didnt make any browser history, I didnt have any problems with this, I just created an account, attached PP etc. and just list it, after 24hrs or so, i am getting views and probably sales :)

did you list items containing Microsoft,MAC or Office in the name? that might be the reason

well,then switch to unbranded paper clips,we always need more paper clips

Digital items let alone hot titles like "Fortnite" are pretty rough for account health
