Good phone service to use

I've been off of eBay for a while, but I was building some accounts back up. I used to use TracFones for accounts, as a $5 phone came with 15 minutes and it was $20 for 3 months of service. Does this still work? Maybe there's a new pre-paid service to use now?

Tracfones are still the go to service people here use.

Tracfone works fine. I then switch the number over to google voice. Some people keep the tracfone number live.

I also use Tracfones. I sometimes buy bulk lots on eBay and get multi SIM cards for cheap. You start out using real mobile prepaids, then add a Google Voice later to keep them active.

So, Google Voice is ok after the account is established? I am reviving old accounts in which the number is no longer active. So, it would be ok to you GV at this point?

So long as you start out with a mobile# and add in the GV later it should be fine.

Just keep the number active and don't let it expire.

I like tracfones, cheap and disposable.
They have been working fine for ages.

What I do is order multiple Tracfone SIM cards, they are usually about $1 each and use the Verizon Wireless network.

I have been off of eBay for a couple of years, other than my main account. I am basically going through a slowly rebuilding my old accounts. The phones aren't active anymore. Looks like I'll just use GV on them

in my experience it's ok to switch to GV as long as you use a real number when you first created the account.
