Order was previously cancelled but we shipped it now what?
 

Hi.
I have an order in my account asking me to ship it and we created the label. However, I just found that this order was already cancelled earlier.

I don't have the option to cancel the order as it was already cancelled. And I refunded the buyer on PayPal now.

Do I need to still ship it out as in having USPS scan the label?

No you don't.

Do you mean that a cancellation request was opened by the buyer, you printed a shipping label for the order and uploaded tracking before you noticed the cancellation request, and now eBay won't let you cancel because it's saying "we let the buyer know it's too late to cancel the order" when you click on cancellation details?

If so, that happens to us all the time since we print postage outside of eBay and it's never caused any big problems or defects that I'm aware of. It's only ever been an issue once, and that was recently in our managed payments account, because eBay doesn't have an option anywhere to refund a buyer in that kind of case.

you should void the label to get your shipping $$ back

This is what happened.
I had to cancel an order (buyer agreed it)
Now today we had an order to ship and we bought shipping and put in tracking.
Turns out this was the order cancelled already.

So I just void shipping label is all good then. Buyer is refunded

It should be all good,
order cancelled,buyer refunded,shipping label voided and you did not ship the item.
tracking entered will show no progress.
end of the story .
take a look at your Paypal account,something is not refunded,it is your transaction fee of 30 cents.

If buying shipping on eBay for labels you have x amount of days to void a label and x amount of days to reprint a label.
Do it before that lapses or you are s o l
