How to have risk free digital products bussiness with Ebay and PayPal
 

So my PayPal got restricted due to high risk business (my guess is I got too many dispute,
probably over 7% of all my transactions) but eBay actually have no problem with me and ask me to wait for their manage payment system( I maintained over 500 positive feedback within 4 months with zero negative or neutral feedback). So as of now I'm using friends PayPal to sell, i wonder how do I maintained a risk free way to using PayPal? I can and willing to refund any buyer who open dispute on me, but once they open the dispute on me does that already triggered the defects on my Ebay or PayPal account?

You are putting your friend's Paypal account in danger,it is not fair

Not everyone in this world need to use PayPal. Plus I pay him a premium and he knows all the risk and he is totally ok with it.

I'm new so forgive my questions here..lol

But I thought we could not add a new paypal to an existing eBay account where the existing paypal was banned.

So if we can indeed switch out paypals then how long does this tend to last before paypal kills the newly added paypal.

use a payment processor - solved.

You can't use any payment processors on eBay, other than Paypal or eBay managed payments.

That stopped being an option earlier this year.

Usually a few weeks at most, but it depends on your sales.

Yes I know this is not the ideal situation but if in a bind how many times can you actually do this and would doing this a few times have any affect on our eBay account?

It's counterproductive to push the limits like that so I never have. The one time I did it, I had my payments start going to a new Paypal after the first PP was limited. Within two weeks Paypal linked the second PP to the first and I wound up having the balances from both held for 6 months.

I guess if you have infinite funding you could keep adding a new Paypal every time Paypal limits the previous account, but you're going to burn lots of bank accounts in the process.

I can't comment on the eBay impact. After the 2nd PP was limited in my scenario I switched to Authorize.net and started accepting merchant account payments on eBay, which it used up until February of this year when it was forced into managed payments.

Yeah I realized quickly that even if that method works the problem is the darn about of bank accounts I would end up burning through.

When my PayPal first got limited I used another aged PayPal on same eBay account to accept payment (basically what eBay ask me to do when I called). PayPal limited the account after 48 hours. My sales was around $400 per day.

Managed Payament people told me they invited too many seller and probably wont have me invited till next year.. because they still have to honor the contract with PP

This is correct,when Ebay spun off Paypal,there is an agreement Ebay has to pull out gradually.
I have been with Paypal since early 2000 and Ebay since 1990s,I have yet to hear from Ebay on joining MP?

I read online that many seller started using Ebay's own MP since early 2019.

eventually we all have to join.
I have to switch to ETSY MP from PAYPAL and on AMZN,we all have to use AMZN one click,so with Ebay MP,where does it leave PAYPAL?
