Ebay error email on forced managed payments by Oct 22
 

Some of us got an email yesterday saying we had to sign up for managed payments by Oct 22. Then they sent a message saying it was an error. I'm so glad I got this as it was a glimpse at what to expect...an invitation and then a requirement to join 6 months later if you don't accept the invite. Also, it looks like if you are opted into Global shipping or donate to a charity? you are exempt...maybe until the end of the rollout? I'm thinking about signing up for global shipping now just to be the last to be in this rollout. Any thoughts?

Global shipping doesn't exempt you - I can say that much. I've always offered GSP on listings and my business accounts were among the first batches of accounts to be invited in.
