ebay 21 days hold
 

Started using a new account ( 6 months+ 10+ trades) selling low value items under £40 so not using tracking. Is it 21 days regardless with ebay holds or does it come down to 7 days like paypal holds once marked dispatched(no tracking)?

Never sold low value items other than to build an account before so always used tracking.

up to 21 days,but can be more with high risk items,usually 3 days after tracking shows delivered.
if you did not use tracking,then you have t o mark it shipped

You can also call Ebay to remove the hold if buyer has left positive feedback .
In USA,most sellers would use tracking for that kind of money,as trcking comes with the shipping label if you buy them online.

ebay will request a hold on your money unless you provide a tracking number or receive a positive feedback from the buyer.

21 days is paypal holds your money for some weird verification period.

Even if you simply use/buy a new paypal without any transaction history and you get a payment, you will be subjected to a 21 day hold, and then they will release your payment after that.

Sometimes they release sooner than 21 days, so I think the max days they hold is 21 days. And hence the name 21 day hold.
