Auto return approval to stealth address
 

Hi,

I use a 3rd party software for my messages and eBay has been auto approving my returns to the stealth address. The return process doesn’t give me an option to be able to message the seller like it used to when they would initiate a return

Anybody have a solution to this?

I was thinking to change the return to “buyer pays for return”
But any option still auto approves their return.

I changed my listings to not accept returns.
However, I note in the listing my return policy.

Now no matter the reason for their return, I always have the option to message to customer first.

It really doesn't matter what your policy is.

The customer can always force a return. Not only can do it through eBay, but PayPal as well.

Also eBay will often override your settings for returns and auto-approve them if a buyer claims it's broken, SNAD, or counterfeit.

I just had a situation where a customer was unable to open a return request past 90 days, but was able to get their money back though PayPal. This was after 120+ days.

I was wondering how to get around this too. I think I have everything changed over to my address but I don't know will it revert back if any returns came up

when he opens a return,you should have time to send him a return label with your correct address,this is what foreign and domestic Ebay dropshippers do when the item came from AMZN,their return address is Indonesia,or Israel or their US address,by acting early,they send buyer a return label back to AMZN warehouse.
if your auto messaging software prevents you from doing so,you need to do something about it!!
