Responding to buyer emails in phone
 

Require some clarification.

Is it ok for me to respond to buyer emails that I receive in my Blue Mail app on my android phone. I have added all of my stealth yahoo accounts to my Blue Mail app so I receive all buyer enquiries on to my device. I have been responding to buyer enquiries as of recently straight off my device due to frustration of logging in and out of stealth accounts on my desktop pc.

I have set blue mail to disable all images etc. It's always been set up this way for me.

Is this method safe ? does my IP get sent to ebay ? or does blue mail / yahoo send their own IP once my response goes through their servers ?

Ip gets sent to eBay a lot.

To completely remove these worries I personally only reply from within eBay messages.
Yes, inconvenient, but safe and at the same time I'm not enslaved by ebay to have to reply every 5 minutes

Same here - I prefer replying from within the platform

I think its best to reply through their site. Best to play it safe, rather than be sorry you didn't take the extra time and effort to login and reply, risking your account in the process.

A bit late for me now though isn't it ?

It's frustrating when you are going back and forth with a buyer to make a sale.

So much more convenient responding via phone using an email app.

So you all think my accounts are compromised due to IP sharing ?

Just done a bit more digging. I believe Yahoo and Gmail use their own outbound IP masks.

Is anybody else doing what i'm doing ? and has been for a long time ? Could you confirm.
