Refunded the buyer on Paypal, but not on eBay
 

Hi
Please help. I am confused about this.
I just refunded the buyer on Paypal because it was for partial (I withheld the shipping). This is a $825 refund.

Now I see the eBay return order does not mark this order as refunded (I guess there is no such linking between eBay and Paypal?).

I am afraid the eBay automatic refund system would send the buyer a refund, would it be an issue? If it does request a refund by the automatic refund, would it not be able to do it since in Paypal this order has been refunded (only $25 left)?

EDIT:
Actually I see that under the return order it is showing only the $25 refundable. So I think this is all good even if the eBay system tries to refund the order it is only for the remaining $25.

You can do cancellation request and the buyer has to cancel the order.

THe refund update seems to be a little slow at times.

Check back in 2 days see if it says refunded, then cancel the order on eBay

did he open a case on Ebay?
In your listing ,what is your return policy?
did you get your FVF back from Ebay?
