Custom Dropshipping software (non-flagging)
 

I have created custom Dropshipping software that does not flag within eBay. The reason being is that the repricing, listing, and auto ordering is all done from your private API key and not via API through 3rd party authentication. Essentially, eBay finds out which apps are retail dropshipping and then throttle all its users. If you are interested using this software in the Beta phase, PM me.

I am setting up this software for the above poster, let me know if Abuja’s else is interested. This software can manage up to 500 listings pretty easily.

PM me for more details. I am going to try to get this set up for 10 users in the beta phase. Currently, this software supports Amazon to Ebay, however in the future I will be adding more suppliers.

Ummm. What's the point?

Ebay detects and will determine after a period of time that you are a Drop Shipper by the different ship from locations determined from your tracking.

If you don't use tracking and never want to fight any ebay cases - then I could see this being better than having your 3rd party software give you away as a drop shipper. But who doesn't use tracking AND drop ships?

Also, once your account gets flagged as a drop shipper by ebay, it's not that easy to get that removed from your account.

Why would anyone use your private software when there are already NON API tools such as Sku Grid & AutoDS. These are reliable companies with great customer support.

My custom software is better, more intelligent pricing algorithms and product research tools. Better customer service support, etc..

Auto DS, and DSMTool are just volume software allow many sellers to perform poorly run businesses, thus why eBay flagged them. Some of these software let you get $1-5 per sale, I’ve made $150 on a single sale.

If these companies created a software that truly provides a great service, why would EBay flag them? Because they allow users without experience to all list the same items and offer a poor level of customer support.

With my software, you allowed a more unique value proposition, this greater margins, greater customer support, and never been flagged even using the API. People here think eBay doesn’t want you using the API? BS, this is called electronic commerce for a reason. eBay doesn’t want software that provides for a bad customer experience — exactly what these tools fascinate.

Does eBay care about retailers on their platform? No, look at all of them.. overstock, Wayfair, Best Buy.

I was going to create a software like AutoDS and DSMTool but the logic never made sense to me. If you look at a lot of their stores, they have 500+ listings and 3 sales a month.

Skugrid is also a joke, they even got their users accounts suspended at one point by trying to circumvent the API license agreement.

Zippie, I’ve never been flagged with my software, provide good customer support, raise no eyebrows, and your good.

I suspect what happened with DSMTool and AutoDS was bad buyer experience, eBay noticed this correlated with users using their 3rd part app, and thus the flagging.

Okay, they offer non-API — they just lost a valuable tool from eBay that has way more uses than just repricing and tracking uploading. If you think repricing and tracking uploading are the most useful functionality of the API, you need to read the documentation.

You'll need to explain your USP.

If it helping people sell items they have in physical stock - you can't compete with the big players.

If you are offering assistance to people who drop ship, then eventually they will be labeled drop shippers and so will your software - but only after you get big enough. Which will take a while or possibly never happen.

I'm happy to hear that you WILL provide good customer service, for these possible future customers.

Zippie my software is just an enterprise dropshipping automation. It uses retailers, wholesalers, and individuals whom we have vetted to work with us.

Each store has its own private API key and additionally each store will have its own documentation for relationships. It’s not so much I’ll provide great customer support but it will be a byproduct of the product I am offering — eBay store automation.

The argument can be made to eBay that the retail drop shipping (if detected), is filling inventory gaps.

So my USP is with my service, you are getting an automated ecommerce company. Your store is it’s own unique entity.

Hello everyone, I have been talking with many on the forum about their interested in my custom dropshipping software. I recently spoke to one member who requested adding in Chinese suppliers into the software, which is going to be done within the next few months. There is no need for custom dropship software. What would be needed is simply a non API software. The factor that flagging is usually the API repricer / lister of the monitor.

That’s what I said. There are plenty of tools like autoDS and Sku Grid which are non api and can monitor and reprice at the same time.
