eBay rollercoaster
Hi everyone.
I have decided that I should tell you the story of my first eBay stealth account.
So I created this account on September 25th, and up until October 10th I was just browsing listings, adding some to my watch list... I didn't list anything not only because it is not recommended but also because I was waiting for my supplier to ship the order to the fulfillment center.
On October 10th I receive the email that none of us wants to receive — your eBay account has been suspended (it was 9:25 PM)... I'm like "okay, gonna send an email to the customer support tomorrow morning" (on spanish eBay instead of the "call us" option there's the "send us an email" option). The next day I send them the email explaining the problem and after a short period of time they call in to ask for some details (email address, street address, phone number). Then they reinstate the account (October 11th, 12:06 PM). Everything great, woohoo!
After this I continue to surf the listings, not doing anything weird.
October 17th, 10:38 PM
BOOM!!! "Your eBay account has been suspended" (again). As I did before, I sent them an email the next morning and they called in but I couldn't answer, so they sent me an email asking for some more info: ID proof, street address proof and a proof that I'm in possession of the products that I'm going to sell (at that time I had a draft of a listing that I was going to put when my order would be ready at the fulfillment center). I send them the ID, my supplier's invoice and an invoice of a purchase I made which had the street address I was using for this eBay account.
At 1:15 PM (October 18th) they reinstate my account (again), saying that everything is okay. Now I can relax a little... Nope, not yet.
I list the draft that I had on the same day (October 18th) at 8:29 PM... aaaaand guess what happens at 9:05 PM? You're absolutely right — I get suspended... one more time.
So this morning I sent them another email and they told me that the street address proof that I sent them is not valid and that I should send them something different. So I sent them another one and at 2:27 PM they reinstated my account one more time (let's hope that this will be the last one, fingers crossed).
And this is what I've been through so far, a pretty intense emotional rollercoaster.
