Cease and desist question
 

Can you get a cease and desist message on ebay from the non copyright holder of a product? There are many people selling this item on ebay and I messaged two and neither bought from the seller of this that messaged me? He is not the copyright holder, and when I bought these on the secondary market, I had no idea the item might have been copyrighted. I was under the impression that the copyright holder would have to be the one to send cease and desist.

Ignore the cease and desist, this is a lot of hot air. In fact, I wouldn't event reply to him/her.

I would still be thoughtful in how you move forward because they don't need to prove anything to report via vero. If you get a negative report its still a stain on your account regardless of its justified.

Ask for more information on them and their company so you can provide it to your lawyer.
