| TheRealist | 10-23-2019 07:02 PM | IP Address Concern Hi- I use 24VC services for my IP Address for several accounts.
Recently- eBay has been asking me to "verify I am not a robot" in order to "protect unauthorized use of their services" by clicking the "Check this Box"
I have not seen this before AND to me it appears that there are extra security measures taken by eBay.
Should I be concerned- Are the IP Addresses perhaps being used simultaneously by different users potentially raising red flags through eBays system?
I pay for this service- but I'd like to know I have an individualized IP only used by me.
Thanks. |
| burbur | 10-23-2019 07:15 PM | Re: IP Address Concern No, that's normal.
I get it from my home ip aswell from time to time.
Datacenter IPs are in generall bad since ebay can see it is a proxy. |
| Lucynda | 10-23-2019 09:26 PM | Re: IP Address Concern I've been getting it too lately. Glad to know its not anything on my end. This is tie first I've seen it. |
| tedsmith1990 | 10-24-2019 06:33 AM | Re: IP Address Concern I am using 24vc as well.
It seems 24vc got down from yesterday. While it said connected of SoftEther VPN Client Manager, but made my home IP "disconnect". So I can't open webpages. |

Of course, them are safe in three years. |

Thanks. | There is a huge problem with eBay on this.
Both eBay and PPL have started to detect Datacenter proxies. I am using IPBURGER (fresh dedicated IP at 20$/month).
PPL and ebay are always asking me to make captcha test in order to be sure that I'm not a robot. And then Once I list , I get suspended right away.
So yes there are huge problems. Looking for an answer just like you mate |

Yet here I am, with many others, using a VPN to access my Amazon UK and US and ebay UK and US accounts.
Please don't post uninformed noob rubbish. | eBay does not ban you because you access through a proxy.
They don't have huge problems with this.
It's rather when you are creating from a datacenter proxy that you get red flags on your account.
Btw, speaking about accessing accounts?
Have these accounts been created lately (I mean no more than 30 days) on a datecenter Proxy?
Thanks |

If you think 24vc can save you, think again.
Let's all stop the BS, using vpns and proxies is blacklisted...PERIOD!!! | Don't worry buddy, i know you're struggling with the same problems as I do.
But don't worry we're gonna get through this and come back stronger. |
| Jamsym | 10-31-2019 08:06 AM | Re: IP Address Concern I think mobile IPs are the best way for stealth.
Something like 75% of real users now use mobiles instead of PCs so they cant penalise you for using a 4G IP and you blend in nicely. |

For us in the UK it's a no brainer as its cheap and easy. The problem that many here have is they are not based in the UK so UK sims are not an option.
Genuine US users have the same option, but most on here (regardless of the flag they fly) are from countries outside of Europe and North America and why they need to use VPNs.
That said, good quality VPNs do exist and still work, you've just got to know where to find them and be willing to pay for them....another problem with on-the-cheap gun and run stealthers. | Does that mean that IPBURGER and 24VC are not working anymore!!! |
| Davfos | 10-31-2019 11:04 AM | Re: IP Address Concern I used them a while ago, worked perfectly for a while and then had issues - might not have been related to them, but decided to use a different more niche VPN supplier, no problems to date.
A lot of the issues are a combination of red flags, like the IP you use. Quote:

Thanks. | TO answer your question, this is actually very normal.
I got the captcha from time to time and it's because they thought I'm logging from a new computer.. which I didn't. |
| Oldie | 11-17-2019 05:52 AM | Re: IP Address Concern The rate in which I am being prompted to verify I am a human is not normal. Is anyone else experiencing this & has a solution been found? I am using IPBurger Dedicated. |

Best solution I've found is to slide the little puzzle piece over into the slot where they want it to go. I'm doing really good at it. eBay tells me I beat 97-99% of users every time I do the puzzle, lol. |

Having a six step login flow is brutal.. but there's really nothing we can do about it other than not use VPNs. :ranger:
whoer -> ebay login -> captcha -> confirm your number? -> captcha -> seller hub |
