Account linking from pictures?

Is it possible for eBay to link accounts if all pictures taken for multiple accounts are all taken with the same phone?

Not logged into eBay and taken obviously but just taken with same phone.

Yes, it's certainly possible that image metadata can link you. It's always a good practice to use a cleaning app such as batchpurifier to remove the EXIF data before uploading.

Follow what sir nickopedia have said. Or you will take the extra time to take more pictures, so each of your listings will be unique in terms of pictures being used.

Oh yes, this is one common one.

Use an EXIF cleaner, you can find a free app to do this easily.

Windows has an option where you check the picture properties to remove personal properties and personal information. Can anyone confirm that this is okay?

Best to strip those photos if the info with a program like tinsoldier and SaiJin have indicated.

Think that you can take the same photo with the metadata, make a few copies of it, then each of the copies delete the different way and then compare the properties, and you will see the difference if there is one.

For me i see that if you load the photo with the metadata into auctiva, and then you download it from auctiva back to your laptop, the metadata is gone. Means auctiva deletes metadata automatically. If i am right.

Nice thread search - bit older but discussion always relevant

Yeah i know its old, but important to match the target, not just to start a new one or to write somewhere on a side of the subject.

By the way, what do you think about the Auctiva automatically deleting Metadata? Did you notice that?
