Using old PayPal business account
 

Hello everybody

The problem:
I have few eBay+PP accounts opened years ago. PP accounts were upgraded to business accounts year and a half ago.
3 months ago eBay suspended eBay accounts but PP are still good.
Plus I had a lot of good eBay accounts (with PP requesting Tax info). Like many of us I hoped they will reset after New Year(((.

The question:
If I replace limited PP accounts with PP business accounts I used before is it a good idea?

Before I was replacing toasted PP accounts with new fresh PP accounts. Some of them lasted for weeks, some still alive. But I never tried to do this with PP business accounts.
As I understand PP business won't last too long anyway but I don't want to toast old eBay accounts. As an option if I attach 1 business PP account to 2 eBay accounts.
Anyway I have no other use for PP business accounts but I still can try use fresh PP for good eBay accounts.

Any ideas?

cross pollination like that will eventually get you linked. If you are looking at these accounts for long term use then i would start new.

Will it work? Yes.
Do you run the risk of getting linked? Yes
How long before that might happen? I don't have the answer for that one.

As I know business accounts will be toasted sooner or later as PayPal wants to know who is the owner and it won't match stealth info.
Am I wrong?
But I have few business PayPal accounts that I can't use because they were used. And I have few eBay accounts that I can't use because PayPal associated with them requesting SS or EIN.
So I can just dispose them or try to use for as long as possible. Because business accounts let me sell more than 1,5k a month. I can sell more on business account in a month than on regular in 1 year.

PS Does anybody know what is going on with business PP? Does it sill make sense to open LLC or get few regular fresh eBay/PP accounts?
It is getting harder each day to bring fresh accounts to normal selling level.

I've actually reused PayPal accounts a lot and have never been banned for that reason. Since PayPal isn't owned by eBay anymore, they have been A LOT better with managing their accounts. However, generally this is considered poor operational security.
