| | | rafoman | 11-15-2019 04:19 PM | Non paying auction winners- what to do? Usually I list BIN but I've been using auction more recently. I have seen that some customers don't pay after winning. I have sent the invoice and still nothing. I want to message the winners but havent yet.
What do you guys do in this situation? Take it to a case once that option is available?
I don't want to have to resort to asking ebay to intervene whenever there are issues since I want my stealths to last (and regular ebay eyes on accounts doesnt help, or am i paranoid?)
What do you guys do?

| JamesNorth101 | 11-15-2019 04:41 PM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? You can just have it set to automatically open cases after a certain amount of time and then if they still on paid automatically close the case and give you your FVF back
I found that by far and away the easiest thing to do |
| burbur | 11-16-2019 03:17 AM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? from expierience 50% of the buyers who do not pay after 2 weeks usually say they forgot. for the other 50% you can open a case and close it after 4 days if they still do not pay. |
| agent006140 | 11-17-2019 08:20 AM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? ebay keeps track of deadbeats, after so many times, their buying privilege would be suspended. |
| Cashmoney9999 | 11-18-2019 05:45 AM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? If you turn on unpaid item assistance, you won't have to do anything. It'll automatically open and move through the case for you. No eyes will be on it under normal circumstances. |

| lops1987 | 11-18-2019 09:32 AM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? Yeah, Ebay is beautiful for the purchaser. I have as buyer annually about 5, 6 closed matters and strikes, I have canceled items around 60 annually and still I can buy almost without limitation. Iiihihi, the seller is having a hard work very much :]
And now best. I am buying for example a laptop computer, the laptop computer is completely in working order. I am writing to the seller that for example a LAN port is damaged and I would like $40 refund. The seller doesn't have an exit and agrees. Iiiihihi :]
Personally I am not doing in this way because I am good person but I could and much I would earn. Iiihihihi :] |

This forum was built with sellers like myself who absolutely hate these types of buyers. |
| lops1987 | 11-18-2019 10:15 AM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? These are Ebay principles. Ebay could eliminate the purchaser after a few warnings but isn't doing it because knows that more he will earn from the commission.
It surprises me that still so willingly they are selling to the seller in Ebay.
I am sorry but you have a total monopolist.
In Poland Ebay is but nobody is applying it.
In Poland we have an Allegro. To the Allegro the seller is a king rather than purchaser. He can therefore under the sure account better is in Poland than in the USA. Iiiiihihihi :] |
| Kajunrook | 11-18-2019 10:28 AM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? Well one thing you can do before you cancel sale, if you have only one, offer second chance to the non winning bidder and then cancel the winning bid. I have a 7 day policy, if they don't pay in 7 days, I send them a message that states my policy and something to the effect I will cancel at 8 am EST on 11-19-2019. A lot of them will pay up. |
| agent006140 | 11-18-2019 10:49 AM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? I will just block buyers who file INAD,make low ball bid and complain about shipping, there are plenty of buyers on Ebay who will buy from us |
| cr0nis | 11-18-2019 01:53 PM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? Please remember this when blocking an account on ebay
1- block the ebay user name
2- block the paypal email address
the second one will prevent them from changing their u_id or reusing the paypal on a new ebay (happens all the time with these scammers) |
| lops1987 | 11-18-2019 02:01 PM | Re: Non paying auction winners- what to do? Yeah. I buy 12 years on Ebay and I know what One my Ebay account have many strikes and cancel order (and I sometimes have blocked buying, on average one to the three item, so in total few) but Second my Ebay account is completely clean.
Thanks to that I can always sell by auction and buy from everyone for the seller. Iiiihihi :] |

As others have said, it's cutting your loses quick.
Just open a non paying claim, get your fees back, block the buyer and move on. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:03 AM. | |
