How will my VA login to my ebay account
 

Hi guys, I'm getting a VA to manage my UK ebay account , the VA lives in the Philippines.

Whats the best way for them to login? Its not a stealth account just normal one?

I have skugrid remote desktop chrome extension but its rather slow, would you suggest they use logmein or something like that? Thank you

If you are operating stealth well, you can use logmein or teamviewer for the person abroad to access ebay via your computer

Could they use ipburger and fresh ip? Thanks for your help with this. I presume login me will be better so that only one IP is used.

Yes, it will be OK. eBay/PayPal will only see your local UK IP address and not TeamViewer's IP.

The problem you'd face is speed and latency.
The speed issue, you can sort by getting your VA a cheap, fast MIFI there in the Philippines - there are a few that work amazingly well there. Ask your VA for a recommendation.

On your part, you could do the following:
1. Use virgin broadband if you have it in your area. Otherwise, It would be a little slower with Talktalk, etc.
2. Use a PC with BIOS that allows for automatically booting the computer at specific times daily.
3. Throw in a small UPS between your PC and the mains so if the power ever goes out briefly, your PC stays up.
4. Install shadow defender.


There are other little things you could do to give her stable, uninterruptible access, but these above are the basics.

When it comes to latency, sorry - she'd have to live with it.

Another option is virtualizing your home machine. VMware makes it easy to create a virtual copy of a physical PC. Then you could store that VM in the cloud and set it up to use a UK VPN. Then you and your VA would have real-time copies of your computer, and it would look like the two of you are using the same machine.

Latency may still be an issue if you boot VM's from the cloud, but you could avoid it by having your VA download the VM first.

They can reply to the messages via email, but you will have to manage cases and everything else.
