Friend is giving me his account- need help
 

I have a friend who is willing to give me his eBay and PayPal acct, it’s confirmed with all his real identity, aged account from 2013, how can I run this account safely from my house without linking it to my IP that has my eBay acct suspended ? Nordvpn ?

It's really not advisable using friends accounts. Been there, done that. I regret it.

possible to elaborate ? we arent selling vero items etc, simply selling tshirts and sports apparel/memorabilia

You likely have the best of intentions.

However, the reality of eBay/PayPal can be quite different. The whole point of using a "stealth" account is you won't unintentionally screw up your friends identities. The accounts you have are in your friends name, and that is a risk right there. If the accounts get suspended, or you generate tax liabilities, your friend will be on the hook for it.

The whole point is to use stealth identity to avoid problems like this.

confirmed, im actually purchased the stealth guide and im building a stealth account right now myself....i planned to run that but have been presented with the option of my buddies acct....still have a few questions how the stealth side of things work, for instance i have nordVPN, but now im hearing from multiples that nord doesnt work for ebay and paypal....im a little confused but determined hahaha

Does your friend know if his account reaches 200 transactions and $20k /year,Paypal will send 1099K to him and IRS.
IRS will add that amount to his gross income?
Does he really want someone to use his SSN to run a business?

We actually use ziplinkinternet.com as our provider, it’s a wireless service that’s basically uses a dish on my house to communicate wirelessly with a tower a few miles away ? Anyway I can somehow obtain a new ip to not be linked to my old acct ?

1099K could also be sent to your friend state goverment,if he is ever audited for sales tax collection,they want to see his bank statements,if they do not see a match in his Paypal account,they could conclude he is doing cash sales,meaning selling outside Ebay/Paypal and getting cash for merchandise and not collecting sales tax from his customer.
since he fails to collect and remit sales tax,he would have to pay for them.
why would anyone be so stupid to let other use his pAYPAL /SSN?

To gain the new IP address, the easiest way is turn off the router for seconds and turn on again. IP always changes under this process

so just unplug the router from the wall for a few seconds and then plug back in and it should change ? i just wrote down my current IP, lmk if thats the right process and ill do that now

For 99% of US internet customers, this won't change your IP. 20 years ago, yes, but not now.

That's why I told OP it probably won't work. I can reset my cable modem all day and it'll keep giving me the same IP.

Nordvpn isn't good for running eBay/Paypal accounts. It might work but there's a very high possibility of you running into problems with one of their IP's because they are a huge company that everyone uses to abuse Paypal. Ideally you want to use an unheard of niche-market VPN company whose IP's are less likely to have been abused in the past. If you try to cheap out on this you're going to kill your friend's account right out of the gate.

About your friend's account... it sounds like you're new. If I were you, I'd NOT use it and make my own account to practice with.
Because I can guarantee you you'll make mistakes and get suspended.

I agree,it does not work ,we are in the 21st century and he is still hoping to use his friend's SSN Paypal account.

I bought a friend's account once, changed all the info over two weeks time, and I use hotspot tethering, switched the PayPal with no problems also.

I don't think they monitor mobile hotspot ips, everyone would be banned if they did.

If you are in the USA, there are much better sources of IP available e.g. cell phone tethering, hotspots, etc - why need a vpn?

leave the horse alone its dead already....im NOT using my friends SSN, he offered it as he doesnt use it i was simply asking a question, ive read the same response from you 4 times on here now about how stupid i am for wanting to go that route, i get your point, thanks !

yes,Ebay is remitting sales tax collected from his sales,Paypal is sending 1099k to his state.
But in a sales tax audit,what Ebay and Paypal submitted for him would be compared to his bank statements and sales ledger and possibly vendor invoices.
if the results do not agree,he has to prove these are not from cash sales,meaning he is selling outside ebay,paypal and accepting cash without collecting sales tax.
(you know how it is,sometimes a retailer would offer a lower price if buyer pays cash or check).
so to prove the state is wrong,he has to dig out all the proofs that they are not from cash sales,it could be a Fed Tax refund,gifts ,gambiing gains,lottery win,wages,moonlight work,inheritance,etc.
