First sale near a year ago

Hello everyone,

I wanted to hear the opinions of other sellers on here.

I bought a stealth account with a sale a little over a year ago, and I plan to sell some items in the consumer electronics category (semi high risk, NEVER get any vero issues but its a well known brand).

If my limits are 1,000/25,000, would you say its problematic to sell 30-60 units, about $1.1-2.2k USD worth of goods, and increase about 30-60 units monthly?

Looked through the forum but couldn't really find a current answer for my question in eBay's current state

I wouldn't do this off the bat, definitely not. Stealth 101.

Buildit up slowly over three months,do not go in with selling multiples of the same item straight away. Sure fire way to getting limited.

Easy answer. Yes.

Even if its technically aged with a sale or two about a year ago?

I'm not trying to ignore what you guys have said, I'm just confused because people make it seem like aged accounts are worth more because they allow you to start with actual sales history. With what you guys are telling me, I'm better off paying for a newer account with 30+ days of sales history for a cheaper price since I'm technically paying for an older account that's looked at as a new account.

Its A bit frustrating to hear, and wanted to hear everyone's opinions who have been in my shoes, that's all.

It's like this... if you have a 2nd home you never lived in then a year later all of a sudden you see the lights on would you be alarmed?

This is how eBay is.

What I'm saying is, you got a good account now, baby it and start slowly while building momentum from the very beginning. Better safe than sorry.

Overall this account should be pretty strong on its own.
