Paying eBay fees with eBay gift card

Is this a good way to pay fees?

How do I use the gift card to pay fees? I’ve only saw
Paying by credit card or by PayPal account as options.

Would like to pay by PayPal but money now in stealth
PayPal says it’s there but you can only transfer the funds
To bank acct. to accept and keep the money in PayPal
For purchases etc, they want you to enter your info and ssn.
