| lakeman | 09-03-2009 09:31 PM | You should always use the same details for both the ebay and paypal account. |

And there is another thing that I wanna add my cc to paypal account too in order to increase the monthly withdrawal limits. So It will be a problem if paypal account is not under my own details. |

Expect each of them to know what the other knows. |

| GreenBean | 09-04-2009 02:28 AM | You should have paypal & ebay details matching. Flag is meant to be where you live not where you list: will you change the flag or shall I?
How will you access these accounts? With a VPN or proxy? If it is that, then you have flags against your account already. Right now, ebay is asking many accounts that are created like you are suggesting to give full ID. Make the accounts with varying details and take a risk. |

| DogFacedBoy | 09-10-2009 11:15 PM | I have never had a problem with different info on PP and ebay.
They are owned by the same entity and are probably sharing but on the surface at least all that ebay is supposed to see for your PP is the email you put it there.
If starting from scratch with stealth info on both I would however highly recomend the details matching up. |
| GreenBean | 09-10-2009 11:45 PM | Alexin: put the flag of the country where you live NOT where you list on ebay. You have 12 hours to change the flag. That is a forum requirement |
| aspkin | 09-10-2009 11:56 PM | Accounts have been known to become limited when there is mismatched information between eBay and PayPal.
I highly recommend using as much of the same information as possible for both eBay and PayPal to prevent a limitation like this from happening to you. Quote:

| Your friend's PayPal account should be fine if you become limited somehow. Still I would give it a 5% chance of becoming limited if your PayPal account which would be linked to his eBay account would become limited. So he should be fine. :) |

| GreenBean | 09-11-2009 07:09 AM | OK: thanks for that. But I got really worried that if you were making the account in China & using VPN to 'look' like you are in the USA, there have been lots of problems for other users. More than 3 have had their monies kept by paypal.
THanks again, alexzin. I do appreciate this :peace: |

Of course I changed the email to the new one that I used for my current primary account and in almost 2 years have about 300 transactions on it without incident. |

Not sure why this is working for you?
I don't recommend using this technique. It has been proven 100's of times on this forum this ABSOLUTELY does not work anymore.
Definitely not recommended if you want your Ebay account to have any longevity. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:25 PM. | |
