ebayforbusiness have to change personal to business account
 

Hi Guys,

German ebay sent me an email that i have to change my personal account to a business account because i sell to much. If i dont change to a business account my account will be suspended.

Account is registered with a Thai address, had some items with german location before but now only in Thailand. So i hope if i change to business account i dont need that VAT registration.

I would like to keep it personal but could also change into business account.
Does anyone of you know if i can keep the account personal if i sell less or do i have to change it after i received the email from ebay?

I remember ebay calling me to do this a few years ago.

You have no choice but to upgrade to business unfortunately.

Thanks for the info.
Upgrading to business is okay for me, i just worry about the VAT registration because ebay told me that i shall upload the VAT document as well after upgrading. Thats why i no more list items with Germany or another EU country as location.

What if your USA account is already registered as a business here? Can you sell in Germany, UK or France?

As long as your items location is not in the EU you should be fine and dont need the VAT registration.
