All new ebay accounts getting suspended
 

Something has changed big time with ebay.

I use to create ebay business accounts with 1000 limits no problem.

The last few weeks every account I have made has been suspended within the hour, call ebay and get the usual risk blah blah and you cannot use ebay.

Use all stealth methods
New user account
New dedicated IP
New gmail and 02 phone number
New debit card number


At a loss why I cannot make a new account without it being suspended straight away. use the same method which has worked for years.

Might sound stupid, but has anyone from the UK successfully made a new account recently without getting banned?

Don't think it's because of using a VPN, I've used IP Burger without any issues for a while. just since the start of November every account gets suspended.

Could normally ring up and answer a few questions then it's reinstated. now it's a straight ban.

it is always the vpn. without vpn you have a 50-50 chance

Problem is in ur IP address, it all works fine but there is no 1000 limit business accounts anymore, only 10 at start but you can always go to live chat and ask for more even if you are new, just need to link verified paypal before you do it.

Same issue I’ve not been successfully opening new accounts these last 3 weeks business and personal eBay accounts get suspended I’m going to try mobile internet when creating accounts to see how I get on and I’ll post my results.

I doubt the gmail account has anything to do with it however it could also be the time of year eBay are on high alert at this time of year.

Would that mean that the eBay’s security would loosen up a bit after the Christmas period? that honestly sounds strange to me considering I’ve never had this many failed new stealth accounts during Q4.

How long until it goes back to normal?

Their security is still pretty tough even if they loosen up a tiny bit after CHristmas.

Trial and error is always the best method when this happens. Change your methods in small ways, even if it seems trivial, and keep trying until you crack it. It's frustrating but persistence is key

Not to do with VPN, at least not exclusively. I have made accounts successfully recently.

Not had any luck since early November. Account suspended within 30 min.

Normally new accounts after first listing were suspended and you had to ring up to answer to questions and then acc was reinstated.

Now it's a straight ban, just can't seem to see what the problem is. will try some new methods and see how it goes.

Also new business accounts use to get 1000 items allowance. now it's only ten.

if they are shutting you down that fast they must be linking you some how. could it be that the same method you've been using for years has been picked up by the algorithm used to detect these things. your VPN provider could of been blacklisted or could your OS been flagged?

personally i'd say its your VPN provider.

i've opened three in since the start of nov. one got hit with MC011 last night, asking for invoices and ID, fingers crossed they'll pass. the other two are running fine.

nobody mentioned the mac address, i'm opening new accounts just with new user + new mac address no problem at all :)

Ur IP have fault, problem already solved, try getting new ip, Ipburger or something else.

if you have mulitable accounts on the same computer and you are using VMware with chrome, that a pure link
Try to check the webgl, fonts and screen resolution and many other things
this is why Firefox I consider as safe as possible because they give add-ons to change important things to avoid linking

The first sale is the most important; it's the one where your account is evaluated. Anything that looks suspicious can suspend your account.

Good thing is calling in restores the account 90% of the time.

I create new Username under Windows and use Firefox Portable; use new fresh IPs and phone number. I made 3 accounts 5 days ago and wasn't suspended "after 30 min". But. Once I listed simple item(cheap and not high-risk, after 4 days) I got suspended. Usually you just call them, answer some questions and get reinstated. But now something changed in their policy. No one of my 3 accounts were reinstated. It was 2 weeks ago with 2 accounts as well. Same thing.
I still use 2 accounts that were made before with the same method and don't have issue. New accounts have problems tho.

So, concerning your issue, something links them for sure. Try to create new account with banned IP/phone/address and you will get the same problem "after 30 min".

What add-ons do you use? Can you please share?
I never used add-ons tho, and never had problems with creating accounts(made 20+), but now they don't reinstate via phone.

Many of my new accounts are failing as well. So I am now maturing them for a month before I list the first item. I am also buying stuff first.

Earlier this year I just created a new account and listed the first item. Which seemed to work but it isn't for me now.

I am using the same creation methods and listing low risk inexpensive items.

When you buy stuffs, do you get them delivered to your address? wouldnt that raise any flags? and what name do you use for delivery?

Don't most people use a mailbox service, so you can just pick it up? Or, if it's too far, most mailbox services will forward it to your home address for a small fee.

Selling used items around the house, such as good condition shirts or pants is probably the safest items you can sell. eBay will never suspect anything bad about that. Just make sure it's not used underwear.. You may get banned fast!

I tried to open new accounts last two months, just worked 1 account
I opened 8 accounts and 7 of them banned next day after listed a basic item.

used different VPN, VPS companies

It happens to me the same thing, all the bowls were suspended, even when I verify the real phone, I was immediately suspended, this did not happen to me a few months ago, something happening with Eba..

same problem. even some accounts alive, they got restricted after few days.
even some reinstate, they restricted again.
i did stealth way for last few years but not work these days.

For better understanding, please share your method, country of registered account, in general as more as you can provide information to better understand where mistake was made, so we can understand what changed in their policy last month.

Most of us work with stealth accounts for few years and got the problems from recently.
Do you create UK accounts? Phone number that you used to create account and that you used to call eBay are different or same?
