Not paying eBay fees as powerseller

How long does eBay let this slide for? It’s been two weeks and I still have full functionality after multiple alerts from them to make payment. Am I being given any wiggle room because I do decently high monthly revenue on the site?

Just wait till you cant edit your listing or list new items

That's when you know you need to pay the fee

There's always a grace period, but after that your account is toast.

You don't have money to pay the fees?

Re: Not paying eBay fees as powerseller

at 15th or at the end of the month they generate the invoice. 15 days after they automaticly charge your automatic payment method. if they cant charge it they tell you to pay and if you do not pay within 30 days after the invoice was created you are restricted to make new listings.

that means if the invoice date was 30.11. you can list new items up until 31.12 (usually +2 days tollerance so until 2.12. or 3.12).

When this restriction happens on 1.12. you can stil increase quantity of your listings. So you can continue to sell until they run out. Buyouts always last for 30 days and get renewed automaticly every 30 days. so if they are renewed on 20.12. for example they will would renew on 20.1. which wont happen since you are restricted.

However what you can do is list items timedisplaced as long you are not resitrcited. so if you get restricted on 31.12. you can create some listings which will start on 20.1. they will expire on 20.2 then (but you cant change the title, only the quantity or the price)

so tldr; you can sell for almost 4 month without paying fees

Yeah, also I have been restricted from selling by not selling fees and had my account re-instated upon paying the fees. So I am not sure what another poster is talking about with the account being toast.

Account not toast at all. They will just cut you off from listing after 1 month like burbur says. Then even after a year just pay it and they reinstate you automatically.
