eBay recently implemented a new rule that states that they will punish you if your items are all shipping from different zipcodes. They check this by checking your tracking and seeing where each item is originating from.
Has anyone experienced repercussions from eBay regarding this new policy? If eBay starts seriously enforcing the rule, how do sellers get around this? |

Where can I see this new policy? |

If I have quantity of ten,and I said it will be shipped from zip 12345,then all ten would be shipped from zip 12345.
If I make ten listings ,each could have a different zipcode.
But if you are doing retail arbitrage, you have no idea where AMZN,WMT,COSTCO will ship from? |

| agent006140 | 12-26-2019 04:45 PM | Re: eBay new zipcode policy but the seller has to have a crystal ball to figure where WMT,AMZN ,COstco will be shipping from, even if he knows ,what if the closest warehouse is out of stock . |

That is why this is going to be a problem for dropshippers. When you dropship from Amazon, you can't pick and choose which warehouse they are going to ship from. They automatically do that themselves based on the buyer's location.
Ebay is requiring sellers to ship from the exact same zipcode every single time, which is really difficult to do when dropshipping. |

You will soon see less retail arbitragers !
Better stock up and ship from your home! |

If I have running around to do I sometimes am closer to a different post office and drop off then. Is that gonna create an issue? I also from time to time ship from my sister's post office a couple towns over when I am heading her way early and post office isn't opened yet and by time I get to her they are begining to open.
I would hope to not lose an account due to shipping my items all with a 75 mile radius of my and my item location. |
