Ebay asks some questions before start selling
 

Hi
Ebays asks some questions via email before starting selling:
What should I write them:

· What types of items do you want to sell on eBay (be specific with brands and what the items are)?

· Where do you get the products that you plan to sell (be specific with names of your distributors and suppliers)?

· How many items do you plan to list on the site?

· What is the average price for the items you’re selling?

· Are the items new or used?

· Do you have any other eBay accounts for selling or buying?

Ummm this seems very straight forward... Obviously the answer to the last question is "no".

Other than that... just respond.

PS: I've never seen eBay asking these things even on new accounts i just made. Are these USA accounts?

No. Actually it is an old account who has never sold anything and I borrowed it.

hmm thats strange, I have never seen that happen before although sometimes my new accounts get temporarily suspended and I have to contact customer services and speak to them about it. They ask similar questions. Perhaps they have changed to email format now. I usually just tell them what the items are and tell them I have very little stock and will be just posting few items here and there with the intention of building it up in to a bigger enterprise over time. Also if you can begin with cheaper "low risk" items that helps too, as the lower your average price then the less of a risk you will appear

Ebay just want to find an excuse to deny your selling privilege.
not your account,old dormant account,is it US based or in your country?

just tell them you plan to sell old things lying around the house,say from your parents ?
average like $25,10 items at a time.
if you have another account,they will find out

Almost Vietnamese accounts get this email on first suspension.

These are standard questions when you call for limits increase.
