Buyers opening cases saying item was returned when it wasn’t how do you handle this
 

Hey I have had two cases opened where buyers said they returned the items, but they never returned them, how do you guys handle this. On non stealth accounts I would call in but on a stealth account I am afraid too contact eBay. Is there another way around this the items are not being returned.

If they don't return and their tracking doesn't show delivered, after a certain time they'll lose the case automatically.

do nothing,like Saijin said,no tickee,the case will close.
But the problem is that your money has been withheld and Ebay/Paypal will not release the money until the case is closed.

If the buyer opened a return then they have to confirm they have sent it, if they have an open return accelerated to the resolution center, then they will have used the ebay generated return mailing label, in this case refund the buyer to close the case so you do not get a bad metric against you and your keep your account safe.

With stealth accounts you can not afford to battle the buyer.

Also do not be afraid to call ebay about a case for returns, the usual verification is email address, phone number, address and account holder name. You need to call from the telephone number they have registered with the account.
