Same name eBay diff PayPal name
 

I have a eBay & PayPal that have shared same name now for over a year! I am not suspended at all. I have had to changed the business details of the account to a diff address & name in preparation for adyen and also for starting a limited company. Just wondering if it will bring any issues regarding PayPal as the PayPal linked to it noe has a diff name & address .. the PayPal is verified and has all limits lifted on it. Also just to add I did call eBay and have my name added as the secondary account holder if that carries any weight.

It is my understanding you can link a Paypal account to your Ebay business which belongs to someone else,say a consignor prefers to sell and proceeds go to the consignee Paypal account.
But in your situation,think of the tax consequence ,your sales $$ will be credited to that Paypal account holder SSN,if this is how you want it.
you should consult your accountant

Am from the uk. So ssn etc don’t apply. I just screenshot my PayPal earnings and send it in with my expenses.

You can have more than 1 ebay on 1 paypal, but I do not recommend different names on ebay and paypal that are connected.

It’s mainly to do with changing before adyen comes into effect when PayPal gets ditched.
