Finally created Ebay and then this....
 

So got around to feeling comfortable to create an Eb and I try to update my personal info and link my PayPal and then ever single time I try to do it it bring me to a page saying...

Validating javascript engine

Ebay requires that all visitors be running javascript. this page is validating your your browsers javascript engine and functionality.

your web browser will automatically reload shortly and you will receive a pop-up asking you to confirm your form submission again. confirming the form submission again will allow you to continue to visit Ebay without further incident.


I am using a brand-new iOS phone on LTE with javascript already enabled have have no clue what is the issue. tried googling it seems a lot of people have the same issue but no one has a solution. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

i had this issue only way i found was using a windows pc. It drove me nuts for a couple of days

Great....well can't do any of that on my devices since id be under my banned wifi. Guess I will have to try to go to a public library or something and do it from there.

Im sure there are ways you could use your original pc and that phones personal hotspot the information will be available within the forum somewhere I imagine.

I've got problems linking and updating info too. i stopped pushing it thru and gave this thing a 2 week break

when i came back i linked anything and updated with no issue, in absolutely no issue at all

I wouldn't trust an iphone personally. I mean it's really difficult to delete your own web carbon footprinting on there.

Why wouldn't you trust an iPhone? Im using LTE which some say is safer than a VPN as well its a brand new phone and only using one Ebay account on a web browser on it.

I believe there is a Firefox browser app for iPhone and iPad, that may clear your problem.

signing into Ebay on Firefox is perfectly safe?

It should be providing you use it only for one eBay account and one PayPal account.

Just put some browsing history into it first so there are cookies from other websites in the history.

But how many browsers can you have to one iPhone? I mean it's not like user accounts or something like that right?
