What nonsense is this?


The case says
"We received tracking information from the buyer that shows successful delivery."

Tracking shows " out for delivery". Ebay isn't touching it, because they are claiming, because I paid for the label ebay sent them, I'm responsible for the package getting back to me.

It should look for tracking to say delivered,ask on ebay seller forum-shipping and return if other sellers have the same problem.
I recently open a case of INAD and used the return label to print and ship the item,next day,Ebay refunded my money saying I have returned the item which makes no sense,as I just shipped the item??
question-do top rated sellers have option of refunding buyer as soon as buyer uploaded tracking?

Ebay has changed so much since 1990s,back then we can bid on our own auction,we can take cash,check,money order.
Anyone can leave feedback,without buying anything from you.
There is also escrow,we dont pay for return shipping label.
There is no MBG,INAD,INR,UA,and no chargeback since we sellers do not have way to accept credit card.
Also there is no message popping up which said it looks like you are asking too much for shipping !!

Cased closed against me without seller resolution. Full refund.

it is the message -it said seller refunded because it has been delivered.
And I just shipped it yesterday,?
and it should take a few days .

in Japan, you don't get to return things. You research the item you wanna buy and that's it. You RARELY return stuff.

in USA, customer = god.

thats when you buy from a brick and mortar retail store,yo examine the goods and take it home.
and most are Mint in box merchandise from the factory,not something seller working in pj from home found in basement,attic,abandoned storage locker, pawnshop,fleamarket,dumpster and sometimes totally ignorant of what the item is .
and shipped in a torn dirty walmart plastic bag or Domino ants crawling pizza box.

I get these all the time. For sure you can call and appeal this case. Yes you accepted return but it was not delivered. You just need to call a few times to get an agent who isn't a robot. I've found if you call on Saturdays you get USA agents.

I have dedicated US merchant support. And I got many agents. They all confirmed this to be a thing. They equate it to me as a seller being responsible to deliver the package. But because I have free returns, I'm the one that provides the label, and are therefor responsible for getting the return to me. The buyer only has to have the package scanned in, and their job is done. It does not have to be delivered. It's on ME to have it delivered, and you lose the case the same way you lose an INR case. They still can't show me where this actual policy exists tho. INR has clear policy info anyone can read, that says this. Returns, have no such information.

No appeal. In fact, the first agent was an asshole and appealed it anyways, knowing he'd close the appeal, even tho I never said I wanted it appealed. The best I could do was get the defect removed. Package is gone. It was over a month ago.

if it said out for delivery,then your postal carrier either misplace it in your neighbor mail box,or he lost/stole it?
did you check with your local post office?

Just to be clear, I meant the case was opened a month after the package was out for delivery. But yeah, it's rough.

I did notice at the time that the package was lost, but I didn't care, because I didn't think I'd lose the case. So I just let the case time out. But he escalated it before that happened. Which was a month after the package was lost. Lesson learned tho. It was only $50, so not awful, and the dfect was removed, which is the important bit.
